Daily life in Jamaica 1978-79 is dreary. There is nothing to get in the shops and no money to get it with. The International Monetary Fund sits heavily on the nation’s economy, demanding further cuts. People have to find day-to-day solutions. They’ve got to survive. In the meantime, the rulers are getting less and less popular.
